The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Women's Leadership Network (WLN) is an exclusive program that provides women with a platform to support each other on their journey to leadership. She has served on the board of directors of the Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce, the Military Academy Review Board of the 8th Missouri Congressional District, the Missouri NFIB Leadership Council, as founding chair of the board of directors of the Pike Creek Common Sewer District in Butler County, and as vice president of the Missouri Sewer Districts Association. Marc and Wendy are farmers who grow soybeans and corn in Carroll County along the Missouri River. Wendy has been with United WE for nine years and has led the organization to invest in research, promotion, and policy solutions to eliminate economic barriers for women. This includes conducting 24 significant research studies, promoting issues that have led to 51 political actions, and supporting more than 180 women to obtain civic office. The Women Of Year (WOY) luncheon will be an inspiring event for attendees and organization leaders as they learn more about the 2024 honorees and their commitment to promoting opportunities for all women.
